Wood Dust Collection Systems is not a product line borrowed from metalworking, and it is not a catalog page bolted onto a general industrial range. It is nine collectors and an engineering process aimed at what a wood plant actually produces.
That focus is the point. Wood sends respirable fines and heavy chip down the same duct, changes volume with species and moisture content, and burns. A supplier serving twelve industries treats that as one case among many. Here it is the only case.
The range splits along a single line. Indoor dust collectors sit on the shop floor where noise and footprint matter, and outdoor dust collectors take the volume, the noise and the fire load beyond the wall. Where the engineering comes from
A family firm in Italy
Coral began in Italy as a family owned manufacturer of industrial air filtration equipment, and the family stayed in the business as it grew. Ermino, Nevio and Luciano Coral carried it through its second generation. It has since become an international air filtration group with a product range far wider than wood.
Coral in the United States
Coral USA brings that range to the American market. Equipment is engineered and manufactured to Coral specification with components certified for US installation, while sizing, quoting, commissioning and technical support are handled here rather than across an ocean and a time difference. The number at the top of this page reaches people who can talk about static pressure, not just part numbers.
Why a wood division exists
Wood shops kept asking questions a general catalog answers badly. What happens when an edge bander loads the media with adhesive. Why a beam saw needs a finer filtration grade than a moulder. Whether the collector belongs inside the building or outside it. This site is those answers in one place.
Not a catalog reseller.
Plenty of companies will sell you a dust collector. Fewer will tell you the one you asked for is the wrong size. These four habits are what the engagement is built on.
We size before we quote
A model number is the last thing you get. First comes the machine list, the shift pattern and the duct run, because a collector sized against the wrong duty is simply the wrong collector.
We design the whole system
Branch sizing, main duct velocity, fan selection and controls are part of the job rather than somebody else's problem after the unit is delivered.
We are the manufacturer
The equipment is Coral's own. When a detail has to change for your installation, the request does not have to travel through a distributor first.
We stay until it runs
Commissioning, balancing and operator training happen with your team on site, and performance is verified against the design rather than assumed.
